The conference reviewing the activities for the first 6 months of 2016 - HCMC Cargo Transport Association

On July 9, 2016, HCMC Cargo Transport Association held a Conference to review activities for the first 6 months of the year and plan the tasks for the last 6 months of the year, the financial statements for the first 6 months of the year and implement the tasks and directions for the last 6 months of 2016.

In the opening speech at the Conference, Mr. Bui Van Quan, Chairman reported the situation and results of implementing the tasks in the first 6 months of 2016 and set out the main targets for the last 6 months of the year. In the first 6 months of 2016, the Association has developed specific programs and plans, with great efforts, the Association has achieved remarkable results:

• The volume of goods transported increased again after the Tet holiday, exploiting the existing shipping capacity;
• The State's regulations have also gradually become more open, creating conditions to support more transport enterprises to operate, the speed of traffic on the national highway, inner city, etc. has increased significantly.

Besides the advantages achieved, the members of the Association still have many problems with supporting policies as well as on capital to operate. Through the framework of the Conference, Mr. Quan also sent recommendations to the City People's Committee, the Department of Transport, and related departments to modify some current regulations to be more suitable with reality to support enterprises more effectively in the transport sector.

As an active member of the Association, in recent years, Tan Thanh company has continuously made efforts to contribute to the development of the HCMC Cargo Transport Association in particular and the Vietnam Logistic industry in general. At this conference, Ms. Kieu Ngoc Phuong - Deputy General Director of Tan Thanh Company introduced a number of new products that Tan Thanh Company has researched and developed such as: Semi Trailer Draw Axle, ABS brake system on Trailer, Xitec tank trailer, etc., thereby showing the considerable efforts of Tan Thanh's engineers and technical workers who are constantly innovating and bringing to the market the best quality products suitable for transportation needs at Vietnam.
