Tan Thanh was commended In The 2014 Enterprises Accompanying Program
As part of the key activities of the 6th worker month 2014, in the morning of May 29, Ho Chi Minh City’s Labor Federation organized the program "Enterprises Accompanying Program" to commend non-State business owners which has well implemented the prescribed policies and regimes and has paid much attention to the material and cultural life of employees. There were 34 business owners to be commended on this occasion including Tan Thanh company.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Federation, last year, despite still facing many difficulties in production and business, the leaders of enterprises and the trade union executive committee at enterprises have had many practical policies to care for life and employment of employees. Only on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2014, there were 474 enterprises coordinating with the trade union of export processing zones - industrial zones to provide tickets for more than 28,000 workers to come home with the total amount of over VND 37 billion... In addition to paying salaries and bonuses to employees, many enterprises have coordinated with trade unions to visit, give gifts and money to more than 500,000 workers in difficult circumstances with the total amount of over VND 348 billion. Many enterprises understand the difficult situation of the employees, so they actively share with many meaningful jobs such as increasing mid-shift meals, rental accommodation, child support, and attendance, productivity bonus ... This job proves that business owners, employers have appreciated their companions on the path of development, creating good feelings with employees, enhancing the attachment between workers and enterprises, building a stable and harmonious relationship with the enterprise progress. These care activities of enterprises have helped workers understand and feel secure during working.
Ms. Tran Dieu Canh - Director of Tan Thanh, one of the most prominent business owners commended, said: “When we want to connect with employees, we must create jobs for employees, as well as taking care of their lives. When there are many jobs, the salary will be high, and the employees will be excited. Not the salary is the main thing, but the spirit is still the main one, the two must go in parallel. Then there are appropriate policies and create playgrounds as well as development for employees to develop comprehensively in the company, from which the employees will stay with the company ”.
Appreciating the companionship of the trade union organization with the enterprise's development, the enterprise's care for workers' lives, Mr. Le Thanh Liem, Vice President of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City attending the program emphasized: “Enterprises have always respected the law, cared for the lives of workers, considered the workers as their valuable capital, built business culture, and corporate culture. More respectfully, when the more difficult the enterprises, the more they cooperate with the authorities and the trade unions at all levels to remove difficulties, stabilize production and business development, and take care of the workers and workers. Thereby, enterprises together with the authorities at all levels, trade union organizations have built the working class increasingly strong in both size and quality”. On this occasion, the leaders of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also undertook to create favorable conditions and ensure safety for foreign investors and enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City to do more business and take care of the material and spiritual life of workers.
