Tan Thanh Container Celebrated the International Women's Day 8-3

On March 16th, 2014, Tan Thanh Company held a competition on learning about islands and a campaign game to celebrate 1974 years of the Hai Ba Trung uprising and 104 years of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2014). Attending the event, there were Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyen representing Thu Duc District Labor Federation; Ms. Tran Dieu Canh General Director of Tan Thanh Company and a large number of competing teams, supporters.

Speaking to open the event, Ms. Bach Thi Thuy Hang, Head of the Women's Union of Tan Thanh’s Trade Union reported the performance of the work of Female Employees in 2013 and the plan and development direction for 2014. With mechanical industry characteristics, in the whole Tan Thanh system, there are 79 female workers out of the total 500 employees. Although not large in number, with the spirit of industriousness, creativity, solidarity plus the support of the Board of Directors, Trade Union and Tan Thanh's male colleagues, female employees always successfully complete the tasks assigned, making a great contribution to the stable development of the company for many years, in which many women hold important management positions in the enterprise. They not only excel at their work, they also well take care of family life, raise their children to study well, build a prosperous, equal, progressive, happy family, and actively participate in social activities. On this occasion, the grassroots trade union awarded certificates of merit for women who are "good at State work and capable at family work" to 37 women in Tan Thanh.

After the award ceremony, there was a competition learning about islands and a sports festival to celebrate International Women's Day 8-3. In total, there are 6 participating teams from departments and units competing in 4 contents: learning islands, infusing lemon, relay, eating pears, dragging. After more than 2 hours of suspense, thrill, drama, fun and the super excitement of the competition, the sport ended successfully with the final victory belonging to the team of the Youth Union of Tan Thanh. The contest and sport events help to increase the spirit of solidarity, exchange and mutual understanding among Tan Thanh employees
