Tan Thanh awarded the Nguyen Duc Canh in 2014

In the morning of July 27, 2014, Tan Thanh Company solemnly held a ceremony to award Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships to the employees’ children who overcome difficulties to achieve good results in study and practice. Attending the ceremony, there were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyen, head of the Women's Union, Thu Duc District Labor Federation; Mr. Kieu Cong Thanh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors and a large number of students, parents.

Opening the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Hung, the President of the grassroots trade union, affirmed that “Nguyen Duc Canh scholarship is one of the programs of great significance, demonstrating the care of the Trade Union for employees’ children in difficult circumstances who overcome difficulties and study well, create conditions for them to continue to go to school and fulfill their dreams. Also through these activities, the Trade Union Executive Committee wishes to further strengthen the long-term bond between employees and the company ”.

Affirming the determination and support of Tan Thanh company to Nguyen Duc Canh's study promotion fund, Mr. Kieu Cong Thanh, on behalf of the Board of Directors, committed to continue to support and pay more attention to this activity in the upcoming time. Mr. Thanh also urged employees to take more practical actions to contribute to the study promotion fund such as: doubling the rate of contribution to the fund compared to the present rate, managers must actively contribute, the company should spend a working day for the fund. The entire company is determined next year to raise the award level for the students to 1 million each for primary school, 2 million each for secondary school, and 3 million each for high school.

Tan Thanh Company believes that employees are the most valuable treasure, well taking care of their own lives and their families is the prioritized task of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors always care and partly contribute to the study promotion fund to timely encourage employees’ childrens to overcome difficulties and study well.

Despite the not very great financial value, the scholarship shows the unanimity of the Board of Directors in caring for the children, thereby contributing to ensuring the comfortable mind of employees. The Board of Directors hopes that in the next years and many years after, the Nguyen Duc Canh Study Promotion Fund will grow stronger, the number of children commended and rewarded will be increased. This is also a task assigned by the Board of Directors and will be conducted with the coordination between the Union Labor Executive Committee and Board of Directors in the upcoming time.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyen, the representative of the Labor Federation of Thu Duc District highly appreciated the coordination between the Trade Union Executive Committee and Tan Thanh's Board of Directors in considering and awarding Nguyen Duc Canh scholarship 2014. Despite being adversely affected by the economic crisis and many difficulties, Tan Thanh still pays attention to study promotion, caring for families and children of employees. This is an activity of profound human significance, vividly demonstrating the common efforts of the whole society to encourage study and talent promotion. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tuyen also expected that in the upcoming time, the model of mobilization and fundraising for study promotion from employees as Tan Thanh Company’s will be spread and increasingly replicated.
