Awarding the Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships for the seventh time in 2016

On July 17, 2016, the Trade Union of Tan Thanh Company organized the 7th Nguyen Duc Canh Scholarship Award Program for the 2015-2016 school year for primary, secondary  and high school students, college and university students who are childs of employees working at Tan Thanh company having excellent academic records during the school year.

Attending the ceremony, there were Mr. Kieu Cong Binh - Standing Deputy General Director of Tan Thanh Company, Mr. Tran Van Hung - President of the Labor Union, members of the board of directors and general directors and a large number of the company’s employees.

The scholarship for students is from VND 600,000 to VND 1.2 million each and the total value of Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships awarded to them is VND 82.8 million from many sources, most of which are contributions from the company’s staff and the Board of Directors. This is a traditional activity of Tan Thanh company and is a great source of spiritual encouragement for the children, encouraging learning and training thereby helping employees feel secure to work in Tan Thanh.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Kieu Ngoc Phuong - Deputy General Director congratulated the students awarded Nguyen Duc Canh scholarship. The program would be improved with the plan for the school year of 2016 - 2017 as follows: primary school (VND 1,000,000 each), secondary and high schools = (VND 1,500,000 each) College + University = (VND 1,800,000 each).These are rewards to celebrate and encourage the learning spirit of childrens of Tan Thanh company's employees, thereby reaffirming the sustainable value of Tan Thanh Container brand, always towards the community.

Mr. Tran Van Hung - President of Tan Thanh Company's Trade Union sincerely thanked the Board of Directors and parents who were employees of the Company for accompanying and contributing to building "Nguyen Duc Canh Scholarship Fund". This activity is maintained and stable every year creating motivations for the children of Tan Thanh's employees to achieve good results. The scholarship movement "Nguyen Duc Canh" will increasingly develop and have more prospects for their future.
