Providing Container Clinic for the program "Prosperous Vietnam"
The mobile clinic made from containers produced by Tan Thanh proudly contributes to providing free healthcare services to thousands of workers in Ho Chi Minh City.
On April 25, 2021, VPBank, along with the Young Doctors' Association of Vietnam and the Young Doctors' Association of Ho Chi Minh City, launched a mobile clinic made from a container with the aim of providing free medical services directly to workers in various industrial zones within the city and neighboring provinces.
With this project, the container clinics are deployed at 5 locations to provide free health check-ups for 1,000 workers in Thu Duc City, including:
- Dinh Ich Thach (Truong Thanh Ward)
- Cultural House (Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward)
- Boarding house No. 16 (Binh Chieu Ward)
- Party Committee Office and Youth Union Block of Cat Lai Industrial Zone (Thanh My Loi Ward)
- Cultural House of High-Tech Industrial Zone (Long Thanh My Ward)
Dr. Kidong Park, the World Health Organization (WHO) Representative in Vietnam, also highly praises this mobile clinic model. He mentioned, "Many small and medium-sized enterprises do not have their own medical facilities. This model will certainly be very useful because it is mobile, providing basic medical services to workers in industrial zones. If they identify any issues, they can be referred to the nearest appropriate facilities."
Before being transformed into container clinics or other construction projects, containers were originally steel boxes used for transporting goods. Over time, as containers aged and lost their value, they became scrap materials at ports and depots. Through manufacturing and business activities, Tan Thanh continuously researches new production methods to provide effective solutions and promote sustainable living by transforming used containers into products that benefit customers, society, and our planet.

The free container clinic model is one of the activities under VPBank's "For a Prosperous Vietnam" program, aiming to support social welfare activities nationwide. Tan Thanh is honored to be selected as the provider of containers for this program.
The clinic is designed by Tan Thanh's engineers using a 40-foot dry container, measuring 12 meters long, 2.4 meters wide, and 2.5 meters high, allowing for convenient transportation to various locations. Inside, there are three rooms: a general examination room, an ultrasound room, and a maternity examination room, equipped with modern devices installed in a scientifically appropriate manner for mobile medical examinations.
